April 2026 Gospel Mission Update
By God's grace, April was another encouraging month of ministry as we continued sharing the hope of the Gospel throughout Ethiopia. During the month, we proclaimed the Good News to 4,008 people, and 321 accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We also celebrated the baptism of 62 believers who had completed follow up discipleship and baptism preparation. Please continue praying for the 233 new believers who are currently receiving follow up discipleship as they grow in their faith and walk with Christ.
Foreign Missionaries
Throughout April, our missionaries faithfully shared the hope of the Gospel across multiple nations and regions.
South Sudan: Missionaries shared the Gospel with 650 people, and 400 accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and were added to the local church.
Middle East: 500 people heard the message of the Gospel.
Egypt: 700 people heard the Gospel, and 102 accepted Christ and were added to the local church.
Sudanese Refugee Communities: 800 people heard the Gospel, and 62 accepted Jesus Christ and were added to the local church.
Outreach in Islamic Communities
Through contextual, underground evangelism in predominantly Islamic regions, 5,453 people heard the Gospel, and 245 accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Please pray for the 165 new believers who are currently receiving follow up discipleship as they grow in their faith.
Outreach in Ethiopian Orthodox Communities
By God's grace, our underground evangelism teams reached 5,071 people in Ethiopian Orthodox communities. As a result, 320 people placed their faith in Jesus Christ. We also continue discipling 239 believers who responded during previous outreach efforts, helping them grow in their relationship with Christ.
Training
Equipping church leaders remains a vital part of our mission. During April, 34 elders, deacons, and full time ministers from three newly planted churches participated in a two day training focused on church leadership and pastoral ministry. In addition, 30 members of evangelistic teams from three established churches attended a two day training centered on the Great Commission and effective evangelism.
Both trainings included biblical instruction, group discussions, worship, and corporate prayer. We are grateful for the opportunity to strengthen these leaders and pray they will continue to lead their churches faithfully while advancing the Gospel in their communities.

- Pray that God will provide motorcycles for our missionaries, enabling them to reach remote villages with the life changing message of Jesus Christ.
