July 2026 Gospel Mission Update

July Ministry Impact

17,368 people reached with the Gospel
466 decisions for Christ
884 people receiving follow-up and discipleship
86 believers baptized

Behind every number is a person who heard the name of Jesus, a new believer beginning a life of faith, or a disciple growing deeper in their relationship with Christ.

The Gospel Is Going Forward

Ethiopia

Through general evangelistic outreach, 5,002 people heard the Gospel, and 166 people accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. An additional 573 people are currently receiving follow-up and discipleship, and 18 believers were baptized after completing follow-up and baptism teaching.

Ministry also continued in areas where sharing the Gospel can be especially challenging.

In Islamic-dominated communities, underground evangelism reached 4,022 people, with 77 people making decisions for Christ. Currently, 172 new believers are receiving follow-up, and 51 believers were baptized.

In Ethiopian Orthodox-dominated areas, underground evangelism reached another 4,444 people. 61 people responded to the Gospel, and 139 believers from current and previous outreaches continue to receive follow-up and discipleship.

Across the Nations

God is also opening doors beyond Ethiopia.

More than 300 people heard the Gospel, and 120 people were saved and added to local churches.

Egypt
More than 1,000 people were reached with the Gospel, 25 people made decisions for Christ, and 17 believers were baptized.

Sudanese Refugee Communities
More than 800 people heard the message of Jesus, with 12 people responding to the Gospel.

Eritrea
More than 300 people were reached, and 5 people made decisions for Christ.

Middle East
More than 1,500 people were reached with the message of the Gospel.

Equipping Believers and Gospel Workers

Evangelism is only part of the mission. We are committed to helping new believers grow in their faith and equipping leaders to faithfully carry the Gospel forward.

On July 29–30 in Adami Tulu, Ethiopia, 60 new believers from Muslim backgrounds participated in training focused on foundational Christianity and water baptism. Following the training, 51 believers were baptized.

During the same gathering, 13 Gospel ministers serving within Muslim communities received biblical training focused on studying God's Word and preserving the truth of the Gospel.

We praise God not only for those coming to Christ, but also for the pastors, evangelists, and believers being equipped to make disciples in their own communities.

Please Pray With Us

As the Gospel continues to advance, we invite you to pray:

• For peace and stability in South Sudan, Sudan, and Ethiopia.

• For the Lord to send more workers into the harvest as opportunities to share the Gospel throughout Ethiopia continue to grow.

• For God to raise up faithful, biblically grounded pastors and ministry leaders who will protect and proclaim the truth of the Gospel.

“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.”
Matthew 9:37

Together, We Are Reaching the Nations

We praise God for every person reached, every decision for Christ, every baptism, and every believer being discipled.

And we are deeply grateful for the churches, donors, prayer partners, and ministry friends who make this work possible.

Thank you for praying. Thank you for giving. Thank you for helping take the Gospel where it is needed most.

Together, we are reaching the nations with the hope of Jesus Christ.
