Foreign Missionaries

Throughout May, our missionaries continued faithfully proclaiming the Gospel across multiple nations and regions.

South Sudan: Missionaries shared the Gospel with 400 people, and 200 accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and were added to the local church.

Middle East: 1,350 people heard the message of the Gospel.

Egypt: 320 people heard the Gospel. Please pray for the 18 new believers who are currently receiving follow up discipleship.

Sudan: 900 people heard the Gospel, and 11 believers were baptized.

Eritrea: 500 people heard the message of the Gospel. Please pray for the 3 new believers who are currently receiving follow up discipleship.

Outreach in Islamic Communities

Through contextual, underground evangelism in predominantly Islamic regions, 4,002 people heard the Gospel, and 105 accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Please pray for the 117 new believers who are currently receiving follow up discipleship as they grow in their faith.

Outreach in Ethiopian Orthodox Communities

By God's grace, our underground evangelism teams reached 4,092 people in Ethiopian Orthodox communities. As a result, 55 people placed their faith in Jesus Christ. We also continue discipling 122 believers who responded during previous outreach efforts, helping them grow in their relationship with Christ.

Training

From May 25 through May 29, 2026, NLICM hosted a specialized five day Bible translation workshop in Bishoftu. The training brought together 50 strategic church leaders to strengthen their skills in accurate and culturally relevant Bible translation.

Through collaborative instruction and practical training, participants were equipped to help accelerate the translation of Scripture into local languages. This workshop marked an important step toward developing sustainable, locally led Bible translation projects that will help make God's Word more accessible to unreached communities.

Testimony of Healing

We are grateful to share a powerful testimony of God's faithfulness in the life of Pastor Milal, the senior leader of The Fellowship Church in Cairo, Egypt.

Pastor Milal recently faced a serious medical crisis that required extended hospitalization. As medical expenses continued to grow, the financial burden became overwhelming for both his family and his church.

Through the generous support of NLICM, the necessary financial assistance was provided so Pastor Milal could receive uninterrupted medical treatment without the added stress of mounting expenses.

We praise God that Pastor Milal has made a full recovery and has been discharged from the hospital in good health. We are thankful for God's healing, the dedicated medical professionals who cared for him, and the faithful supporters whose generosity made this possible.

Pastor Milal and The Fellowship Church extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who prayed, gave, and stood with them during this difficult season. Your partnership has strengthened both a pastor and the ministry he faithfully serves.

• Pray that every spiritual stronghold and deception of the enemy will be broken through the power of Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:3–5)
